Pest Control Policies
Monthly service is recommended to control pests. We target the pest, not your environment.
Service must be continued month-to-month to maintain guarantee. One time service is not guaranteed.
We cannot guarantee elimination, only control. If service is not performed for 6 months or longer, the initial fee will apply.
5 Star will assess a late charge if cancellation is not given 24 hours prior to service.
Payment is due on the day of service. There is a $2.00 Billing Fee charged if payment is not received on the day of service. You can pay your technician at the time of service, or we offer a 1 year discounted prepaid service, or call in a credit card on the day of service, or keep a credit card safely on file to be run after each service.
5 Star assumes no liability in the placement of baits.
Warning: Pesticides can be harmful. Keep children away from the pesticide applications until dry, dissipated or aerated.
Termite Protection Policy
In the event that the targeted insects reoccur in the areas treated by 5 Star Inc., within a 12 month period from the original date of treatment, 5 Star Inc. will retreate the infested area(s). Treatment will be done at the discretion of 5 Star. Scheduling is subject to availability.
The protection guarantee is fully transferable in the event the structure is sold. Either party may cancel the guarantee after one (1) year of service. The guarantee does NOT include a damage bond.
The treatment is guaranteed for 1-5 years, based on the service level purchased.
The subterranean termite policy can be renewed for additional years on an annual basis at additional cost. A late fee will be added if the guarantee is not renewed during the anniversary month of the original date of treatment. It is the sole responsibility of the homeowner to renew this policy. Notices will be sent out, however if the homeowner does not receive a notice it is the homeowners responsibility to contact our office to renew the guarantee.
New subterranean termite tubes may be seen up to 10 weeks after any treatment, this is normal, continue to knock the tubes down and contact our office if they reappear AFTER 10 weeks.
If you refer a friend, and they purchase a full termite treatment you will receive a credit on your renewal.
Initial cost of treatment must be paid in full at the time of treatment.
